National Transportation Service - NTS
NTS is a new green technology providing sustainable transportation. Solar Transportation Technologies is developing an electric based nationwide transportation mode for both passengers and freight.
It is the mission of Solar Transportation Technologies to create a nationwide mass transit system built exclusively for autonomously driven, privately owned, electric (cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, and semi trucks), providing weatherproof, door to door, convenient, fast, safe, and low cost travel.
NTS solar powered transportation system makes it possible to replace all fossil fuel based cars and trucks with all electric models.
NTS uses electric vehicles (cars, vans, SUVs, semi trucks) enabled for normal manual driving, self-driving, and automated travel on electrically powered, elevated, toll roadways that are accessed via stations. The automated roadways have two uses: A high-speed (140 mph) nationwide system connecting metropolitan areas, and metropolitan feeder lanes for cross town in town travel.
California has some of the most congested roads in the country and, unlike proposed high-speed rail, the NTS would be built near the most congested routes first. Expansion of the system would be financed by revenue from the high traffic routes, until the entire state was covered and links to other states created. Eventually a nationwide network would be built for electric vehicles. At that point Freedom Mass Transit becomes the only way to privately travel without distance restrictions in an electric car. California’s tax share of the revenue from Freedom Mass Transit could finance 12% or more of the state’s current $145 billion budget. Development and manufacturing cost are spread across all projects. See example below.

Our patented Vehicle Control Process manages all aspects of mass transit system travel. On the high-speed automated roadway, small “trains” of vehicles are created with 3 to 6 or more vehicles linked electronically and spaced very close together. Merging vehicles at high speed is controlled by merging control signals with very high precision.
